Just in front of the caves, the megalithic park presents reconstitutions of life size dolmens, cromlech and tumulus as we could see them in the Basque mountains.
Through this park (which has been realised thanks to hard and fast scientific rules) you will be able to discover lots of ancestral rites.

The Basque funeral world

   In the Basque country, the first dolmens (place where they buried) date back to 5000 years or so when the first shepherds and the agriculture appeared. Later on, the shepherd started to build the cromlech where they deposit their defunt’s ashes after the cremation. There is no doubt, here is the Origin of the Basque discoidal stone.

   You can visit this park on your own and it is a great pedagogic tool for everybody. Jacques Blot designed it, he is an archeologist specialized in Basque prehistory and protohistory.
